Minimal Modules

Full-scale pavilion (1:1), built from recycled aluminum — designed using principles of optimality and efficiency. This project explores how architecture can be structurally efficient, resource-efficient, and adaptable — through modular elements whose forms follow the natural laws of minimal surfaces.

Problem

Urban environments are burdened with excessive materials, high emissions, and inefficient resource use.

Solution

A modular system of minimal surfaces offers an alternative: architecture that uses less but performs better.
