My name is Ekaterina Mihaylova, and I am originally from Sofia, Bulgaria. I graduated from a mathematics high school in my hometown and then moved to Vienna to study architecture at TU Wien.
During the final years of my studies, I dedicated my work to projects from the “Versatile Spaces” series at the Research Units for Building Construction and Design 2, as well as Structural Design and Timber Engineering, under the guidance of Dr. Sandra Heuplik-Meusburger and Prof. Peter Bauer.
Since then, I have been focused on developing and realizing innovative projects that expand our understanding of architecture from structural, functional, and aesthetic perspectives.
